What if

Quiet, you might scare her
as is, she is as elusive to find as they come
let us hope the breeze doesn’t shift
pray with me that we are not found out
only God can decide whether or not we catch her
today we experience a wonderful thing without bounds
the mere sight is worth crying over

I feel like we’re walking on spiderwebs
legs quiver through unsteady footing
the hurricane breeze looks to knock us off
our chances are slim, but there is hope

What if I get there… hmmm… what if?
